Asking for your thoughts (Part 9) "Lots to talk about!"
BUG FIXES:
Okay so I cleaned up and fixed some major bugs with collisions but I have one bug left that I have no idea how to fix as of the time I'm typing this. I'm not going to worry about it right now and I should have it fixed by the time the first playable demo is out.
LEVEL DESIGN:
I completed the level design for the first 2 levels from the original game and it looks much nicer. I also added the last 2 levels to the game but then will still need a lot more work since all I added was the art. There are no collisions for it yet.
COLLISIONS:
I added the collisions for the edge of the screen and I added collisions for bullets.
NEW FEATURES:
I also added "dimmers" for the borders along with everything from the original game. (When you are under it it will become see through) I also added some helpful features for controller users. I added a message to alert players if you don't have a controller plugged in and I added a feature where you can toggle on and off your mouse cursor with the left bumper.
NEW ART:
As you can see in the image above I've redone the "x" enemy's art. I've never liked the original color scheme so I finally decided to change it.
CONCLUSION:
I was going to make another dev log after I finished the stuff for this update but I've decided to finish the player UI and the warp zone UI before I do the next dev log. I'm hoping to get it out by next week.
