So I've decided to add and clean up some stuff before tackling those 2 bugs to clear my mind. I want to clean up the collision code and add more labels. I've also added some fake lighting which is just an ellipse with a gradient that fades out and with a low global alpha. This gives the effect of "light" on the ground and shows up on the player and enemies too. This along with shadows gives a nice little effect that looks good in game! I'll probably release a video showing everything off soon.
