The new Homeworld Takedown...
Okay I've made a decision to remake the whole game... I'm sorry to anyone waiting on update to this game because you aren't going to be getting any for a while. No this is not the sequel and I'm not taking this version off of the website. I want this new version to have something to compare to so you can see the new planned changes and you can tell me what you like about it and things you liked better on the original. I'm going to be making it in the new engine I've been working on. (and I was going to make the sequel on) It's going to take a bit to get it to a point were I can start to make games on it. I have huge plans for this new engine that I want in place before I start on the remake like a totally redone player controller that's a part of the main constructor. I've built games already with some of these new feature like the animation system in the Minigame Collection and the rendering system. The rendering system has a few issues I'd like to resolve but it most likely won't be ready by the time I start on the game. Some of the things I want to improve on are AI, collisions, boss fights, menus, all of the html, and music. Some things I think I did right are player movement feel, the wave based mechanic, unlockables, most of the player ship art, the changing backgrounds during curtain time of the year. Now almost everything will get an improvement by the new engine. I'm focusing a lot on gameplay and story this time around and I can't wait until I have something playable ready to show you. This game has sucked years of my life away and I hope this time I'll finally finish it.
P.S. there will be mobile controls this time around.

Bold and courageous move! It will probably be for the best though. Looking forward to the new version whenever it comes out.
Thank you! Hopefully I'll have something to show in a month or 2.
